Sashimi is generally prepared with soy sauce, wasabi (pale green, similar to wasabi in Japanese), vinegar, ginger, radish puree, and wine (a "Fried wine"). When eating animal-based sashimi, the first two are almost necessary, and the second two are more or less depending on the region and the characteristics of each individual's preferences and restaurants.
