if we talk about the most famous Malaysian dish then it must be the Malaysian Wonton Noodles. This dish is famous because of its association with the typical Malaysian culture and tradition. As we know, that soy sauce is the traditional element of Malaysian cuisine and Malaysian Wonton noodles are incomplete with soy sauce which means this dish fulfills the criteria of Malaysian culture and that is why it is famous. Now, let’s dig into the recipe for this mouth-watering Malaysian dish.


Ingredients for Recipe of Mouth-watering Malaysian Noodles 

· Wonton noodles 800g

· Minced prawn meat 300g

· Minced pork 300g

· Wonton wrappers 2 packets

· Sliced char siu pork 600g

· Choy sum 200g

· Dark soy sauce 2 tbsp

· Soy sauce 12 tbsp

· Oyster sauce 4 tbsp

· Green chilies 4

· Garlic cloves chopped 12

· Black mushroom 12-13

· Grated ginger 2 tsp

· Chicken powder 4 tsp

· Eggs white 2

· 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed in 4 tbsp of water

· Vegetable oil

· Vinegar 2 tbsp

· Sugar 3 tbsp

· Salt

· Pepper

Recipe Seasoning & Ingredients

Firstly, add vinegar, salt, and sugar to a bowl. Dip green chilies in this mixture. Refrigerate for 3 hours. For the wonton filling, you have to mix the pork mince, prawn meat, egg whites, grated ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken powder, sugar, pepper in a bowl. Wrap the mixture in wonton wrappers.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and heat it until it turns light golden. Blanch the vegetables. Cook the wontons in boiling water. Boil the wonton noodles in the next step. Plate the dish by placing the noodles, then the wonton wrappers, and season with some mushroom sauce, and your Malaysian wanton noodles are ready to eat.
